Bad days

What’s the best way to overcome a bad day? I’m having a pretty shitty day to be honest, I’m full of flu and haven’t moved from the sofa all day. Not only does this affect my physical health but also my mental health as I start to feel annoyed that I’ve wasted a day sitting on the sofa, I start worrying about things that I need to do and basically just get really down, even though my body is clearly telling me I need a couple of days to rest! What makes these bad days only last for one day? I struggle with stepping into a new day positive and letting the previous day go, I’m a very negative person and hold on to that negativity almost as like a shield. What are some positive things you do when you’re sitting on the sofa full of illness? Help a gal out and give me some inspiration Xx
